User Agreement

The plain-language expectations we share with readers. This page covers how to use the library, how to share it honestly, and what we owe each other — with the enforceable legal detail kept in the Terms of Service.

What this agreement is

This page sets out the shared expectations between you and Pixelrush in ordinary language. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed like a contract. The legal detail that governs the relationship lives in the Terms of Service.

  • This agreement covers how you use the library, how we expect our material to be shared, and what we owe you in return.
  • The Terms of Service carry the enforceable terms, including liability, intellectual property, dispute resolution, and governing law. Where the two documents differ on a legal point, the Terms of Service prevail.
  • The Medical Disclaimer explains the health limits of everything we publish. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
  • By continuing to use the site you accept this agreement. If you disagree with it, please stop using the library.

Who may use Pixelrush

The library is written for adults and mature young readers who want to understand stress and recovery practices honestly.

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the site, or the higher age of digital consent where you live.
  • If you are below that age, please use the library only with a parent or guardian, and discuss any practice with them and with a professional before trying it.
  • The site is intended for a general international audience. You are responsible for complying with the rules that apply where you live.

Your use of the library

No registration is required for this version of Pixelrush. You remain responsible for deciding whether general educational information is relevant to your own circumstances.

  • You do not need to buy a device, supplement, subscription, or service to use this library, and we do not ask you to.
  • Reading, browsing, and searching the library are free, and the guides are written to be useful on their own rather than as a funnel towards a purchase.
  • If a guide is not relevant to you, the right response is to leave it rather than to force it to fit.

Health decisions remain yours

The most important expectation on this page concerns your health. We provide information; you and your clinician make the decisions.

  • Do not stop prescribed treatment or delay seeking care because of a guide.
  • Seek advice before attempting an activity affected by your health history, medicines, pregnancy, age, or accessibility needs.
  • A pleasant sensation does not prove that a practice treats a condition.
  • In a crisis or emergency, contact your local emergency service rather than this website.

How the library is produced, and who is accountable

You should be able to tell how the information you are reading was made. Pixelrush researches, writes, and edits each guide, assigns the evidence label before publication, and remains accountable for the final text.

  • We use AI-assisted tools to help draft, summarise, and copy-edit material, while a human editor stays responsible for the wording, the citations, and the evidence label.
  • The full account of our production process, and the claims we refuse to publish, is set out in the Medical Disclaimer.
  • AI tools are never used to invent sources, and a citation we cannot verify is treated as an error and corrected or removed.

What we ask of you

The library stays useful when readers use it in good faith. These few rules exist so that it remains available, accurate, and clearly not a clinic.

  • Do not present a guide, or an extract from one, as individual medical advice, as a diagnosis, or as the opinion of a clinician.
  • Do not misrepresent yourself as a Pixelrush editor, reviewer, or affiliate, and do not imply that we endorse your product, clinic, course, or practice.
  • Do not scrape, bulk-copy, mirror, or republish the library, or feed it into another product or dataset, without written permission.
  • Do not remove or obscure evidence labels, safety boundaries, or attribution when you share material.
  • Do not interfere with the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use the site in a way that is unlawful or harmful to other readers.

Honest sharing

Sharing a guide is welcome, and sharing it in a way that keeps its uncertainty intact is what makes it useful.

  • Link to the full guide wherever you can, rather than to an isolated sentence.
  • Do not selectively quote an article to claim that Pixelrush endorses a product, practitioner, or guaranteed result.
  • Keep the evidence label with the claim it describes. A “promising” finding does not become established because the qualifier was dropped.
  • When you post about a practice, say what worked for you as your experience rather than as a general finding.

No individualised service

The website does not monitor symptoms, supervise activities, provide emergency support, or offer individual clinical advice. Reading the site does not create an ongoing support or care relationship.

  • We cannot review your personal circumstances, and we will not give individual recommendations by email.
  • Our inbox is not monitored continuously. Never rely on it for anything urgent.
  • If you need individual guidance, the appropriate source is a qualified professional who can examine you and knows your history.

Corrections and what happens to what you send us

We treat a correction as a contribution rather than a complaint, and we handle messages with care.

  • Send corrections and feedback to [email protected], including the page address and the point you are challenging.
  • We may ask to quote your correction when we explain a change on the page. We will only use it with your consent, and we will keep it anonymous if you prefer.
  • We will not publish your name, email address, or the content of your message without asking you first.
  • Please do not send sensitive health information. We do not need it to act on a correction, and we would rather not hold it.

Commercial relationships and advertising

This version of Pixelrush carries no advertising and no sponsored placements. The library is not for sale to the subjects it covers.

  • No payment, free product, or other benefit can influence a guide’s wording, ranking, or evidence label.
  • If advertising is introduced later, it will be clearly distinguishable from editorial content.
  • Advertising will not be targeted using health information, and we will update the Privacy Policy before any advertising technology is added.
  • A guide is never placed because of a commercial relationship, and no guide is removed because of one.

Third-party links and resources

Guides cite studies, product documentation, and other external sources for further reading.

  • External references are published for transparency and verification, not as an endorsement of everything on those sites.
  • Once you follow a link you leave Pixelrush, and the destination site’s own terms and privacy policy apply.
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or commercial practices of third-party sites.

Copyright and reuse, in brief

Pixelrush owns the library, and we are glad for it to be shared within reasonable limits.

  • You may read, print, and share links for personal, non-commercial use, and quote short passages with clear attribution and a link back.
  • Wholesale copying, republication, translation, resale, or use of the library to train another system requires our written permission.
  • The full licence terms, and what to do if you believe your rights are infringed, are in the Terms of Service.

Suspension of access

We may block or restrict access where the rules on this page, or the Terms of Service, are broken.

  • This includes scraping, attacks, unauthorised access, and attempts to misrepresent the library as clinical advice.
  • We try to be proportionate, but we will act promptly where a reader’s safety or the availability of the site is at risk.
  • Because there are no accounts, no notification or appeal process is needed in most cases. If you believe a block was applied in error, write to [email protected].

Relationship to other policies

Read this agreement alongside the rest of the set. Together they are short, and they answer most questions about using the library.

Changes to this agreement

We may update this agreement, for example to describe a new feature or to make the wording clearer. The current version is always published on this page.

  • Material changes take effect when a new effective date appears on this page, and we will give notice on the site where a change affects how you may use the library.
  • Continuing to use the site after the effective date means you accept the updated agreement. If you do not agree, stop using the site.
  • If you need the version that was in force when you used the library, email [email protected].
